For Authors
Oral Presentation Guidelines:
- The total time for each speaker in regular sessions is 12 minutes. Please plan for 10-minute presentation and allow 2 minutes for questions.
- Invited speakers have 20 minutes/15 minutes in symposium sessions. Please refer to specific session schedule in the program.
- On the day of your talk, please plan to arrive at your session at least fifteen minutes before the start of the session. This will give you time to introduce yourself to the session chair, familiarize yourself with the session computers, and verify that your talk projects correctly.
- Rehearse your presentation so you can confidently deliver it in your allotted time: it is a discourtesy to your audience, the Session Chair and the other speakers to exceed your allotted time. The Session chairs are instructed to adhere to the printed schedule for the session. With parallel sessions this is critical to the overall success of the conference.
- It is strongly recommended that you pre-load your presentation (via a USB drive or CD/DVD ROM) onto the PC in the author preparation area. Please review your presentation including animations, graphs, equations and sound.
