Interested in pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering?
Our Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org
You have several paths to a degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. You can start as a freshman in the College of Science and Engineering, complete the necessary prerequisites, and apply to the major of your choice.
Another option would be to transfer to the College of Science and Engineering on completion of the prerequisites for either of our majors, and meeting the GPA requirements.
We recommend that all prospective students (freshman and transfer) interested in our undergraduate degrees check the College of Science and Engineering web site and the CSE transfer admissions page for more information. If you are a prospective international transfer student keen on pursuing a degree in our department we recommend that you review information on the CSE international transfer page.
Are you looking for details on our undergraduate curriculum?
The ECE Advising Matrix has details on the curricula for both majors, course lists, electives for the major, and electives from other departments approved for the EE and CompE majors. Look under Advising Aids. The Why ECE page and the Undergraduate Students page can provide you with more information on our degree programs including information on opportunities that support academic goals.
