Bhaskar Sen has been awarded the 2016 IEM (Institute for Engineering in Medicine) Walter Barnes Lang fellowship. The award supports travel for research presentations. Recipients of the award are graduate students at the University engaged in research related to engineering in medicine, advised by IEM members, and are evaluated on their record of academic achievement, quality of research plan, commitment to engineering in medicine and leadership strengths. One fellowship is awarded in each of the 5 themes.
Bhaskar also won 3rd place for his poster titled “Classification of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder from Resting State fMRI”. The poster was presented under the Medical and Biological Imaging theme. Bhaskar is advised by Prof. Keshab Parhi.
